Founded 1934 and still family owned and run by eldest son Robert Ettinger. They are one of few remaining British luxury leather goods companies still manufacturing in the UK.

Process

Creating design theory for Ettinger involved several crucial steps. We visited the factory to understand the manufacturing process and to see the craft behind the luxury leather goods. We visualised the layouts and functionalities and iterated through feedback to refine the UI design, always ensuring we were aligned with design theory.

Solution

There was a natural synergy between Ettinger and Multivitamin Studio in that we both have a true passion for our craft.
Our design theory was focused on building their craft into a digital experience to articulate the care, quality and passion behind every stitch, press and fold. We needed to reach out to the customers with a tactile experience that creates dialogue and brings them closer to the products, people and brand. Customers have the ability to add personalisation to any product to make it their own. This, paired with a clean and contemporary fully bespoke design, bring an enhanced digital experience to Ettinger.co.uk
