Founded 1934 and still family owned and run by eldest son Robert Ettinger. They are one of few remaining British luxury leather goods companies still manufacturing in the UK.
To modernise their ecommerce solution in order to reduce manual administrative processes and alleviate time to focus on creating beautiful quality leather products
Creating design theory for Ettinger involved several crucial steps. We visited the factory to understand the manufacturing process and to see the craft behind the luxury leather goods. We visualised the layouts and functionalities and iterated through feedback to refine the UI design, always ensuring we were aligned with design theory.
